Silver Sage – The Flame

My hubby and I have discovered that we both enjoy wine and wine touring. While we were still dating we went to the Okanagon Valley in BC and toured some of the wineries there. One of our favourites was Silver Sage.

This wine in particular is very special, because I have not found anything else like it. It is an aperitif wine which goes down with a sweet apricot taste, but with a very surprising fiery aftertaste (hence the chili in the bottle).

Unfortunately, you can’t order this from the LCBO, you’ll have to contact the winery directly.
